Reverse Engineering is an important aspect of engineering, with the ability to use CAD software, such as Solidworks, along with 3D scan technology to recreate a 3D object. There are multiple different contexts where reverse engineering would be advisable, such as recreating old and/or discontinued pieces of technology or recreating a single piece of technology for a larger assembly. Within this project, I shall go through the steps of how to accurately recreate a piece of technology and finish with an image displaying how well the object was recreated.
