As an Engineering Manufacturing Systems Intern, I designed and animated a 3D SolidWorks model of a manufacturing component and performed FEA simulations that increased overall manufacturing effectiveness by 10%. I also led the development of a predictive digital twin that combined SolidWorks geometry, sensor data, and Power BI analytics to forecast machine degradation within 5% accuracy.
In addition to modeling and simulation work, I gained hands-on exposure to CNC production machines, quality control processes, and engineering drawings in a high-volume manufacturing environment. I delivered a final capstone presentation to interns and senior engineers, summarizing my modeling workflow and system improvements while reinforcing safety practices and proper PPE usage.
